Biografie Post-doctoral researcher - Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) at Hasselt University
Caroline Ariën graduated in 2010 from Hasselt University as master in Transportation Sciences – Traffic Safety. From 2010 until 2016 she was employed at the Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) at Hasselt University as a PhD student. In June 2016 she completed her PhD in the driving simulation where she investigated the effect of Safe Systems Approach Solutions for road transitions and discontinuities in the road network. Currently, she is post-doctoral researcher in road safety at IMOB and coordinates educational initiatives related to Transportation Sciences.
