Caroline Ariën

Biografie Post-doctoral researcher - Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) at Hasselt University

Caroline Ariën graduated in 2010 from Hasselt University as master in Transportation Sciences – Traffic Safety. From 2010 until 2016 she was employed at the Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) at Hasselt University as a PhD student. In June 2016 she completed her PhD in the driving simulation ​where she investigated the effect of Safe Systems Approach Solutions for road transitions and discontinuities in the road network. Currently, she is post-doctoral researcher in road safety at IMOB and coordinates educational initiatives related to Transportation Sciences.
